Gruffalo Granny Workshop

On Friday, 3SM were treated to an exciting online workshop. They joined picture‑book favourites Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler as the creators introduced their brand‑new story, Gruffalo Granny. Through the British Library and Macmillan Children’s Books, pupils were given a behind‑the‑scenes look at how Axel brings characters to life. The children loved joining in and even drew their own Gruffalo Granny, using Axel Scheffler’s step‑by‑step illustration guidance to inspire their sketches.
