Family Information Service Newsletter

It's an unsettling time for a lot of families at the moment and many may experience disruption to their every day family lives over the coming weeks. In this edition of the Family Information Service Newsletter you will find advice on COVID-19 (Coronavirus) including teaching your children about washing hands, how to talk to them about Coronavirus, tips on keeping your kids entertained indoors and more.
To make sure that parents, carers, professionals and partners stay informed over the coming weeks, this newsletter will now be going out on a weekly basis. If anyone you know would like to subscribe to the newsletter, they can sign up here

A message from Mrs Wainwright, our Well-Being lead.

As a school we are pro-active in our approach to developing and maintaining a healthy mind and body for our staff and pupils. As part of our commitment to being a mentally healthy school we aim to promote positive mental health for every member of our staff and pupils. By developing and implementing practical, relevant and effective mental health education, we can promote a safe and stable environment for pupils affected directly and indirectly by mental ill health. Our Learning Mentors and I are able to signpost staff, parents and pupils to a range of self-help strategies and local organisations for support.
