House Teams

At our school, every child belongs to one of our five school houses. The house system helps to build a strong sense of community, teamwork, and school spirit, while giving all children opportunities to contribute and achieve success.

Throughout the school year, children will take part in a variety of house competitions and events. We aim to provide two house events every half term, ensuring there are regular opportunities for children to represent their house and work together towards a shared goal.

Our competitions are designed so that there is something for everyone. Events will include academic, creative, and sporting challenges such as:

• TT Rock Stars competitions
• Poetry competitions
• Art competitions
• Cross Country
• Sports Day
• Other seasonal and themed events

Each competition contributes to the overall house competition, with houses working together throughout the year in pursuit of the House Trophy.

The house system encourages children to:

• Work as part of a team
• Support and encourage others
• Develop leadership skills
• Show resilience and determination
• Celebrate each other's achievements
• Take pride in their school community

Our aim is for every child to feel valued and included. Whether their strengths lie in sport, creativity, mathematics, technology, or the performing arts, every pupil will have opportunities to contribute to their house's success
